Changing the Teen Stress Statistics: It's Not Impossible
The latest teen stress statistics indicate that there ate six main causes of stress for the young personsThere is no certain study to be quoted that will tell you of the stresses teens face daily, it is quite clear that it does exist. One tenth of all teens have an anxiety order diagnosed by a doctor. . They are:
1. School is on the top of teen stress statistics, with the peer pressure and worrying about problems with guns and drugs in school.
2. Parents - divorce, splitting up, death, pressure on work, or not enough time spent with the child.
3. Friends - staying in perspective with what they are wearing or being popular.
4. Girlfriends or boyfriends - breakups and the pressures to have sex.
5. The pressure to do drugs like the other kids in the area - living in a bad neighborhood where the drugs are readily available.
6. Brothers and Sisters - feeling lower than and not as special as the other or dealing with siblings from another marriage or step-parent.
The ones dealing with these specific problems stated they did one of two things to cope, as the teen stress statistics reveal. They either did not deal with the stressors at all or they tried to find a way to avoid it or to ignore it. Other teens went to find help for their dealings and others tried to work through sports for relief. Teen stress statistics have shown that up to half of the teens talked to say the are dealing with what they are facing.
- Male teens were the ones who did not like to face up to the stress while female teens that were under the most stress out of both faced what was happening to them.
Teen stress statistics also indicate that young people are stressed by the pressures of the older adults in their lives like their teachers. For those teens in a stress reduction program, it is best to take the girls and boys and teach them separate. The differences between the two dictate this as the best for results as it does in so many other aspects of the life of a child.

When you can see it written down, you might begin to see that the worry you have is not justified. You can look back on the past and see how you made it through better than you thought. It makes your present situation not so bad after all.
