There are over 101 stress relievers that function for all types of personality or stress. You just have to find the one that suits you the best. Try them and see which one is most favorable for you and your way of being.

> There are stress relievers like herbal preparations or others psychological or physical treatments. The stress relievers based on plants or on vitamins are usually non-prescriptive just because they are part of the alternative treatments. Plants like valerian, chamomile, kava kava, etc. has been proved to have a reliving effect on the stress factors like anxiety.

> Another of the 101 stress relievers is the behavioral therapy which can be very useful for teenagers in particular. It can teach them how to face the daily stressors like situations and feelings of anxiety, depression, and self-hurting behavior. It is very helpful because it teaches the teenager how to control the mind and body reactions to these stressors.

> Cognitive therapy is again one of the 101 stress relievers and it teaches how to have a better view on life and on its actions. There are things in life that make one see the empty side of the glass and this kind of stress reliever turns the page towards a good sight of life.

> Literary therapy (another of the 101 stress relievers) is very efficient just because it helps a wide range of people: from the book lovers to the ones that daily read newspapers and to the ones that do not like reading and love the computers (there are continually increasing information about stress, its effects and ways of treatment).

* Once you know more about stress and what it can involve you become more aware about what can happen to you and you take action.

> Healing through communication (the talk therapy) is another very efficient of the 101 stress relievers. A member of your family, a very good friend, etc. usually can understand you better than yourself and can help you find the root of your stress.

* Sometimes it is enough just to talk about one's problems (teenagers have very many problems and they tend to be very stressful for them) to feel more relieved and to realize all of a sudden that the serious problem you thought you had is not so serious or you can find the problem can be solved. You just have to want it.

> Talking to a therapist about these problems is another of the 101 stress relievers and helps maybe even more than talking with a family member or friend. The therapist usually knows better about stress, is better prepared in what concerns this problem and can help you find what is the best solution for you estate.

* Teenagers usually have problems that they cannot talk to their parents. But if there is somebody who hardly needs someone to talk to, these are the teenagers because they feel that no one can understand them (and this is partially true) and the best person that can be there for them is a therapist, someone they can trust, someone they can feel closer.
