Statistics on teenage stress has been documented as a daily occurrence. The parents and adult peers in these children's life are looking at the numbers and feeling like this is no surprise. This might be as simple to them as saying it is just a life thing and they need to be able to just handle what they will be experiencing for many years.

Many teens are told that with a family of their own comes this wonderful feeling of stress and anxiety. They might even hear that they are too young to know what stress is. Stress occurs when our body reacts to something different. This may be in the way we view things in our mind or physical problems that occur because of the stress.

Thinking on stress and what is happening only makes it worse, and there are many worrying statistics on teenage stress that confirm this issue. The changes in life might be good or bad and still cause stress on a person. Dealing with it will show us the kind of life we have. If we learn correct ways to deal we should have a great life to look forward to. If we do not learn how to effectively work through stress, we might stay that way for whatever time we have here and be a part of the statistics on teenage stress.

Statistics on teenage stress indicate that up to 60% from our teens are experiencing some of the following physical changes. Listed below are some of those symptoms.

The amount of problems you have or how bad they become is different for each person. Also, there may be many others not listed here. Good change in life can be as bad for stress and anxiety as bad change. When we move from one into the other quickly, the stress stays longer than it should. Being sick may come on faster and more intense than before. Teen's thoughts and feelings may turn to being depressed, being angered easy, having trouble sleeping, or even sleeping too much.

Statistics on teenage stress also underline that when teens go without sleep long enough there are 50% chances that they can be the ones to go on a rampage while driving, have heart problems, be diagnosed with cancer, go postal at work, and others. Those teens that are at the brink of entering the workplace may not find caring and love they need because they are not self reliant with financial things.

As adults, we need to be alert for changes in their habits as a signal for bad things occurring, and we can effectively use the latest statistics on teenage stress. They do not need the lines about how it gets worse when you are older or have a family. Just resign yourself to be there for them no matter what and to be a good listener who is not there to judge. Remember, you were a teenager once and you had your own issues to deal with. Did you get the love and support you needed or was there a lacking in life? Try to be the one the stressed teen wants to turn to.
