Letting Go for Real Your Stress Pressure
Most of the times, you can tell when you are under stress. Your irritable behavior or tense mind depicts it all. Or there might be some physical indications too, from migraines, headaches to acid reflux. You can handle your own stress type to get relief.
Here are, for your convenience, some tips to handle your stress and be calm in a few minutes.
1. Discover your Hassles.
Get to know what is the thing that is bothering you? You must know that your mind is the home of the stress. Thus, make a list of all the things that might be troubling you, even if it is somewhat a petty demand, as, most of the times, petty and unnoticeable things are the cause of stressing a person’s mind.
These things may be ranging from your anxiety over becoming start, looking fabulous, to the possession of the entire modern appliances of a lavish lifestyle etc.
Some of the requirements come from your culture. There may be an external pressure on you to become a proud owner of a beautiful house, just like your other companions or relatives have been. But you must know that such tensions are deep-rooted within yourself and might be troubling you since long, and if not countered promptly, they might risk your mental and physical health as well.
So you must try to get a rapid relief from the stress.
2. Convert your Demands into Preferences.
Make a list of all the things pressurizing you, especially the demands or things you are longing for. And review them after you finish jotting them down.
Your list might go like this….. “I’ll have to look fabulous at the party next week, instead of my bulging, heavy-weight body. I must lose extra pounds within a week’s time. My kids must become genius at school, and everyone must be all praise for them. My new dress must be according to the latest fashion, that no one ever had, and how jealous all the ladies would be?” ….. And so on.
Once you go through this list, you know how unnecessarily imbalanced demands you are making of yourself.
After you have gone through the whole list, and know exactly what you wanted and how unreasonable some things were, you try to convert your demands into preferences. For example, instead of losing all the extra pounds within a week, you may prefer to choose a regular weight loss program for a certain period of time, or in case of your children’s behavior and performance, you can make a resolution to give preference to this aspect of upbringing from now on.
You might start feeling better after practicing this step- i.e., changing your demands into preferences. The stress-causing thoughts would now turn into a positive attitude.
3. Float Away your Problems Into a Bubble
Time and again, you come across a number of problems, some of which are easy to solve and some keep on lingering in your mind, especially those which cannot be solved easily. Such problems need a quick solution, and this is how you can float the stress-causing thoughts away.
Give a color to your problem and try it to look into it enclosed within that certain colored bubble (pink, green, or blue etc).
Using your imagination, you are seeing that the bubble is floating away into the air, taking within it your problem.
This method is very helpful and easy to ease your stress instantly. You just have to sharpen your imagination and visualization skills.
I assure you that using these above methods would make you a stress free person. You can start practicing them just now and see the results yourself.
